Keeping your child safe online

In 2022, 1 in 5 teenagers reported that they had shared a nude photo or video of themselves with another person. Harmful interactions online can lead to exploitation, sextortion and other harms to your teenager. A free education session on April 2 can help parents and guardians learn about current online dangers and how to protect children from harm. The session will be led by cybercrimes investigators from the MN BCA and Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
