Columbus will be hosting a building tour this summer to show the many upgrades and improvements being made throughout the school. All Forest Lake Area residents, parents, students, school district staff and members of the news media are invited to attend.


Columbus Elementary is seeking someone who is passionate about growing students' literacy skills 

We are looking for Minnesota Reading Corps tutors for the 2017-18 school year at Columbus Elementary.  As a tutor, you will have the opportunity to work with students every day, during the school day and help them become successful readers.

Minnesota Reading Corps provides comprehensive training in strategies proven to help students build reading and math skills. Tutors are paid a living allowance and are eligible for up to $5,815 to pay tuition or repay student loans. Tutors 55 or older may gift the award to a child or grandchild. Tutors may be eligible for free health insurance and child care assistance.
