     School Supplies Program Registration Information for 2019-20

    The Rangers Supporting Rangers School Supply Program assists families in the district who have a financial need by providing backpacks and school supplies. This program is entirely funded by grants and private donations.

    Rangers Supporting Rangers is currently accepting registrations from families with children attending Forest Lake Area Schools for the 2019-20 school year. Registration closes June 30, 2019. For those families who register in advance, backpacks and supplies will be available before school starts in August. You will be contacted with more information later this summer.

    back to school words  BACK TO SCHOOL INFORMATION:

         Our back to school information will be sent to families via email the week of August 12. If your email changes over the summer, please contact us so that we may update your information. Bus assignments will be sent to families via US mail approximately one week prior to the start of the school year. If your child will attend daycare, please call Martha in the office and she will send you a "Change of Transportation" form for you to fill out and email back to her at mcharpentier@flaschools.org

    Now accepting 19/20 Kindergarten Enrollments. Please contact us if you would like a tour of the school or to visit with the Principal. 

    You may download and complete the enrollment forms and submit them to us at any time.

    Mr. Slater named Minnesota National Distinguished Principal of the Year

    Wyoming Principal Curtis Slater has been named the 2018 Minnesota National Distinguished Principal of the Year. The announcement came on May 3 from Minnesota Elementary School Principals Association (MESPA), the organization which sponsors the award.     Strengthening a Positive Climate for Learning

    New District-Wide Bullying Prevention Form Available

    In a continuing effort to prevent bullying and quickly deal with any bullying that occurs, Forest Lake Area Schools has launched a new district-wide procedure for identifying and reporting bullying behavior. If you believe that your child or a student you know is being bullied, please fill out this Bullying Reporting Form. The form can be filled out online but must be printed and signed before it is turned in at any school office in the district. Paper copies of the form are also available at each school building and the Community Education office.     Digital Backpack Community Education's "Digital Backpack"
