Distance Learning in the Early Childhood Programs

  • Early Childhood Family Education

Caregivers will be provided with weekly activities on www.flaschools.org/ecfe. The goal is to provide meaningful activities that can be completed at home to build relationships between parents and their children. Interactive circle times and parent groups will also be offered at scheduled times through Zoom. Students with an Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP) will be communicated with on an individual level by a licensed special educator to determine how their child's program will look in a distance learning model. See the Distance Learning Plan for Special Education for more information.

    Little Rangers Preschool

Caregivers will be provided with weekly lesson plans and offered the opportunity to come to their building site to pick up supplemental materials to support those lessons. These lessons are based on our curriculum and frameworks used in the preschool program and focused on the Early Childhood Indicators of Progress. Students with an Individual Education Program (IEP) will be communicated with on an individual level by a licensed special educator to determine how their child's program will look in a distance learning model. See the Distance Learning Plan for Special Education for more information.
