This is $1,000 scholarship that will be awarded to one Forest Lake Area High School student who will be attending Century College in the fall. The Chisago County Board is offering three $500 scholarshps to graduating seniors pursuing a post-secondary education in an agriculturally-related field. The scholarship is open county-wide to all seniors living in Chisago County. Applications can be completed using the following link.

The M Health Fairview Lakes Volunteer Organization will award up to 30 $1,000 scholarships this spring to qualified candidates pursuing a career in the medical field. Application deadline is April 15, 2021.Applicants must be high school graduates enrolled in accredited post-secondary schools in the 2021-2022 school year. Applicants must also reside in the M Health Fairview Lakes Health Services region: Pine City to Lino Lakes/Hugo; Highway 65 to Wisconsin border. M Health Fairview Lakes Health Services employees and their children are also eligible for application regardless of residence.The scholarship program is coordinated by the M Health Fairview Lakes Volunteer Organization, which raises funds throughput the year to support the majority of the scholarships. One $500 scholarship, sponsored by the Forest Lake FFA Alumni, is available to a student who has been enrolled in high school agricultural education courses/the FFA and who is pursuing post secondary education in the agriculture, food or natural resource career areas. The Forest Lake Area Athletic Association (FLAAA) has up to 10 - $1000 scholarships to be awarded to graduating Seniors. Criteria for the scholarship are based on athletic, academic and community involvement.
To qualify for a $1000 scholarship, the application must:
• Have a minimum GPA of 3.0 from grade 10 through the first semester/quarter of grade 12.
• Have participated in a FLAAA sport(s) for at least four seasons (traveling baseball, traveling basketball, traveling fastpitch, traveling hockey (prior to 2019), traveling soccer (prior to 2011), traveling volleyball, in-house modified pitch softball, in-house football and lacrosse).
• Currently live within the borders of the Independent School District 831. • Attending a college, university or technical school after completing your senior year of high school.
• Complete the application (neatly) and apply for the award by March 31, 2021
The Forest Lake Area Fastpitch Association (FLAFA) is offering up to two $500 scholarships to seniors graduating from FLHS this spring. To qualify for this scholarship, the applicant must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above, have participated in FLAFA for at least four seasons of fastpitch, live within the borders of ISD #831, and playing college or university fastpitch after high school. The Forest Lake Lions motto is "We Serve" . To encourage all members of the
community to be involved in community service (especially our youth), the Lions offer
up to 5 , $1,000 scholarships to deserving graduating students in the
Forest Lake School District. You do not have to be an "A" student to apply
for this scholarship....the emphasis will be on your community service. It will
be awarded to students who exemplify the “Spirit of Lionism” through their
actions. Your service can be through an organization or by individual
efforts to help our community and/or individuals. Hours of service in addition

The Helping Hand Club of Linwood sponsors two $500 scholarships available to a Linwood Township resident and a former Linwood Elementary student. The Scandia-Marine Lions Club offers non-renewable scholarships each year to students graduating from Forest Lake Area High School who reside in the Scandia-Marine area and has been accepted at a college or technical school. The award is based on scholastic achievement, financial need, and service to others. Several $500-$1000 scholarships will be awarded. The St. Croix Valley Foundation is offering scholarships to graduating seniors and non-traditional students who reside in Chisago or Washington Counties. The $1500 scholarships can be used at any public higher educational facility in Minnesota or Wisconsin. Once awarded, students may reapply yearly. The Tozer scholarship was created under the will of the late David Tozer; the purpose is to award renewable scholarships to students attending high school in Washington, Pine, or Kanabec counties. Tozer scholarships are extremely competitive and strongly based on financial need and above average scholastic performance. Tozer scholarships are valued at $2,750 per year and are four-year renewable.
