Forest Lake Area Community School

The links on the left side of this page give information about scholarships available from local businesses and organizations throughout the Forest Lake and Washington County area. Scholarships for FLHS students exist in two categories: The Forest Lake Area Community Scholarship Foundation (FLACSF) and the Independent Forest Lake Area Scholarships.

 

FLACSF has an online application that can be accessed by clicking the link on the left. Transcripts for those applications will be uploaded by FLHS deans. For Independent scholarships, each organization has placed a description of the scholarship they are sponsoring on the independent website. Many groups have agreed to use the Forest Lake Area Independent Scholarship Application form. The remainder of the organizations have either supplied an application or provided detailed instructions within their description. Please read the description for each scholarship carefully and include the information that a particular scholarship needs. The standard packet of materials will include the application cover sheet, list of extra-curricular activities, personal letter/essay, letters of recommendation, and a transcript. It is the student's responsibility to make enough copies of all of the materials necessary for each scholarship and mail/deliver them to the appropriate contact for each scholarship by the deadline. Late applications are not accepted for any scholarship.

 

Each scholarship committee will review the applications to determine the scholarship recipient(s).
