Early Childhood Program's Financial Assistance Options

    The Early Childhood Program has a variety of fee assistance options available based on the program your child is enrolled in and your family circumstances. No district family will be excluded from the Little Rangers Half Day program or Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) classes due to the inability to pay.     • Pathway I Scholarship

      • Pathway I Scholarships are awarded directly to families who meet eligibility requirements. For detail on how to apply for this scholarship click here
    • Pathway II Scholarship

      • Forest Lake Early Childhood Program receives limited funding from the Minnesota Department of Education to help families cover the cost of preschool for students who are 3 or 4 years old. 
    • Childcare Assistance Program

      • All Little Ranger Preschool Full Day and Half Day class participants may use county awarded childcare assistance to help cover tuition costs.
    • Sliding Fee

      • A sliding fee schedule may be used to determine a class rate, which is based on your family's gross income. All preschool participants requesting a sliding fee must turn in a sliding fee application with enrollment. All payments are confidential.
