    Welcome Night:
    7th grade Monday, September 10th (4:30 PM - 7:00 PM)
    8th grade Tuesday, September 11th (4:30 PM - 7:00 PM)

Due to construction, this event will be shifted to the second week of school. During this time, parents will be able to walk their child’s daily schedule, visit classrooms, and meet teachers. We will also have valuable parent information sessions on how to track your child’s grades, assignments, and attendance through ParentVUE and offer tips on how to partner with teachers and support their child’s education at home. We know that many parents will want to help their child get acclimated earlier so the building will be open to drop in during the day from 7:30am to 4pm on Thursday, August 30 th and Friday, August 31 st . During this time, parents and students will be able to find classes and organize their school supplies in their locker. Please know that we will have many staff available to help students locate their classes and organize their lockers on the first day. Don’t feel that coming in early is required.

In November of 2015, our community set a new direction for our school district. An important part of that direction was the transition from two historically successful junior highs schools to a new middle school concept for our communities’ teenagers. With that vision, we have created a destination school experience that focuses on:

    • Deep personal relationships
    • Middle school as a time of discovery and exploration
    • Preparing students for great success in high school and beyond
    • Helping students build both a solid academic foundation and the interpersonal skills to enjoy life.
