Safe Space Response Teams

Safe space response teams are groups of trusted teachers and staff within our schools who intervene in any situations where hate speech is used, connect with the students involved and promote awareness and resolution so that these types of experiences to do not continue to occur in our schools. Teams meet quarterly to discuss the types of incidents they are encountering and to receive professional development. The 22-23 school year focus is to receive training in restorative-like conversations.
