News of the coronavirus COVID-19 is everywhere, from the front page of all the papers to the playground at school. Many parents are wondering how to bring up the epidemic in a way that will be reassuring and not make kids more worried than they already may be. Throughout the year, please check the link to the Digital Backpack that has links to programs/activities/athletic opportunities in our community. Forest Lake Area Schools collaborates with non-profit youth-serving organizations within the district to share their program opportunities with students by linking their information to this site. Events must take place within the district and all materials to be posted will be pre-approved. Should you have any questions about an activity listed in the Digital Backpack, please contact the sponsoring organization.
Strengthening a Positive Climate for LearningNew District-Wide Bullying Prevention form Available. In a continuing effort to prevent bullying and quickly deal with any bullying that occurs, Forest Lake Area Schools has launched a new district-wide procedure for identifying and reporting bullying behavior. If you believe that your child, or a student you know is being bullied, please fill out this Bullying Reporting Form. The form can be filled out online, but must be printed and signed before it is turned in at any school office in the district. Paper copies of the form are also available at each school building and Community Education office.
