Why can I not set-up my Parent Vue account?
You need an activation code provided to you by the school, please enter the token exactly as it appears.
Why can't I see all of my child's grades or course grade books?
If your child is enrolled in Core, these classes and grades are listed on their own tab within the grade book.
What should I do if I believe my child’s attendance in Parent Vue is not accurate?
Discuss the concern with your child. Tell your child to clear the absence up with the Attendance Office. If these steps have not resolved your concern, please feel free to contact your child's counselor.
What does it mean if I receive an email attendance alert from Parent Vue?
An email alert is sent to you when your child is marked absent or tardy to class. You will be sent a maximum of one alert per day. The email will contain no attendance data, but it will tell you should check your Parent Vue account.
What should I do if I receive an email attendance alert from Parent Vue?
Check your child’s attendance in Parent Vue. If your child has been marked tardy or absent, recheck the mark later in the day to see if the attendance status has been changed. If by the end of the day, the attendance mark is still a concern, talk to your child about the attendance situation. Otherwise, please feel free to call our Attendance Ofice at 651-982-3003 or Stacey Julien in our Health Office at 651-982-3009.
What if I receive an email attendance alert, but when I go to Parent Vue, my child has not been marked absent or tardy?
The email alert is sent when a student is marked absent or tardy to class. However, a teacher may have changed their attendance status after the alert was sent, so you may want to check Parent Vue to see if your student is actually present in class. Remember, the data in Parent Vue is more current than the email alert.
What if I have children in multiple District 831 schools?
If you have children that go to more than one District 831 school, you will be able to view all of your children's information through your Parent Vue account by selecting which child's information you would like to view after logging into your account. If you wish to view data on one of your other children just click on their name from the drop down box to view their data.
Why does ALC show as a school choice when none of my children attends the ALC?
If your children attended summer school, the ALC will appear as an option when you log on. To view your children’s data, do not select ALC. Instead, select CENTURY.
What if my username is not working?Your username is case sensitive, as well as ensure that you are accessing your account through Century's website located at cen.flaschools.org
What if I forget my username or password?
Use the "Forgot my password" option and the system will email you a link to reset your password to the email listed on file. Otherwise, you may email Robin Hill at email@example.com or call her at 651-982-3100 for further assistance.
What is the best way to contact a Century teacher?
You may contact a teacher directly via email, through the district voice messaging system 651-982-8130, or by contacting Century Junior High at 651-982-3000. All teacher email addresses may be found on Century's website located at cen.flaschools.org
